Travel Abroad

The Mountaineer Parents Club is going abroad ... and we want you to join us! 

Join us in Spain, France, and Italy from June 29, 2025, to July 8, 2025! 

Here is the schedule/what you’ll experience with us on this trip. 

Day 1: Fly overnight to Barcelona.

Day 2: We’ll start our adventure in Barcelona. You’ll be able to explore shopping, sightseeing, markets, and more. We’ll enjoy a dinner (included) together.

Day 3: While in Barcelona, we’ll take a guided tour of the city. From Barcelona Cathedral to the Montjuic, you’ll be able to take tons of photos with this (included) guided tour.

Day 4: Tour La Boqueria, Barcelona’s central produce market, with an expert guide. During this time, we’ll enjoy a tapas lunch. From there, you’re free to explore on your own.

Day 5: Barcelona, Carcassonne, French Riviera. We’ll travel via the Carcassonne on our way to the French Riviera.

Day 6: We’ll take a day trip to Monaco, tour a perfume and watch factory, and soak in the emerald waters of Nice. Dinner is included.

Day 7: We’ll be traveling to Cinque Terre, Italy. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to explore. Dinner is included.

Day 8: We’ll travel through Pisa to Florence. We’ll meet with an expert local tour guide to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and more.

Day 9: While in Florence, you’ll experience guided tours, Ponte Vecchio, local shopping, and so much more. Dinner included.

Day 10: Depart for home. 

The cost per person for the trip is $5,500.

Payment schedule:

• A non-refundable deposit of $250 is due March 1, 2025.
• The second payment of $2,625 is due March 1.5
• Final payment of $2,625 is due April 15. 

This includes: 

• Hotels with private bathrooms
• Gratuities
• Group meals: daily breakfast, dinner in Barcelona, lunch in Barcelona, dinner in the French Riviera, dinner in Cinque Terre, and dinner in Florence
• In-country support that includes a Field Director
• Private transportation to activities
• Transportation to and from the airport to the destination
• Guided sightseeing and tours
• General Liability Insurance with 24-hour worldwide emergency services 

Note: Students will not receive class credit.
