Travel Abroad

The Mountaineer Parents Club is going abroad ... and we want you (and the family) to join us! 

Join us in England, France, and Italy from July 13 to July 22, 2026. 

Here is the schedule/what you’ll experience with us on this trip. 

Day 1: Travel to England

Day 2: London: We'll meet our Field Director and sightsee at The Strand, Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square, and Covent Garden. 

Day 3: A guided tour of London to see Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, Piccadilly Circus, St. Paul's Cathedral, and more. 

Day 4: You'll have half a day to explore London on your own before we head to Paris, France. 

Day 5: Paris: sightseeing at Place de la Concorde, Champs-Élysées, Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, and a guided visit to Versailles.  

Day 6: Paris: Visit the Louvre and see Notre-Dame Cathedral. Travel day to Florence, Italy. 

Day 7: Florence: We'll have a guided tour of Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio, Basilica of Santa Croce, and the Gates of Paradise. You'll have half a day on your own to explore. 

Day 8: Florence, Assisi, and Rome: We'll travel to Assisi before heading to Rome. You'll see the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, and the Spanish Steps. 

Day 9: Rome: We'll visit the Colosseum. You'll spend the rest of your day on your own. 

Day 10: Depart for home. 

The cost per person for the trip is $6,550.

*Final payment due 95 days before departure. 

This includes: 

• Hotels with private bathrooms: London (2), Paris (2), Florence (2), Rome (2). Cost includes twin rooming.

• Round-trip airfare from Pittsburgh, PA. 
• Private coach airport transfers (in-country only).

• Guided sightseeing and tours of London, Paris, Notre-Dame, Louvre, Florence, Umbrian Farm, Assisi Basilica, Rome, Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Versailles. 

Note: Students will not receive class credit.
