Lisa Hanselman, Director
Lisa holds 2 degrees from WVU. B.S.J in Public Relations (1988) and a Masters of Art in Sport Management (1993).
Fun Fact: I had a fun job for four years as the Promotion Director of a Triple-A Minor League baseball team.
Why she loves working with parents: I love being part of the entire cycle of a WVU parent. From meeting families during the recruitment process, to answering their questions as they prepare to send their student to WVU, through to graduation, we are a part of their entire experience, and it's very rewarding.
Kara Partin, Senior Special Events Coordinator
Originally from a small town about an hour east of Cincinnati, OH, Kara graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelors of Science in Secondary Education and taught English Language Arts at the 8th-grade level for four years.
Fun fact: In one week, I rode a bicycle across the entire state of Iowa during RAGBRAI (Register's Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa) all 400+ miles from the Missouri to the Mississippi River.
Why she loves working with parents: Coming from the education field, I know how important it is for families to have a support network. I love helping families stay connected to WVU and the Mountaineer community while creating memorable experiences for them. Being able to make the journey of college more comfortable and exciting for families and their students is especially rewarding.
