Buses Home during University Breaks
Since 1998, the Mountaineer Parents Club has been providing buses to aid families in bringing students closer to home during Thanksgiving, Winter and Spring breaks.
What began with just 2 buses heading north has turned into a service that now offers buses to several different destinations across the Northeast.
The Mountaineer Parents Club will once again sponsor buses to bring student home for the holiday break. However, this year, we are using a new system: Starr's College Break Bus Service will be providing service to several destinations.
Buses are scheduled for
PA: Allentown, Carlisle, King of Prussia, Yardley
MD: Bowie, Columbia, Frederick, Hagerstown
NJ: Bridgewater, Cherry Hill, Hamilton, Secaucus Wall Township
For online reservations or to review all schedules and details, please click in the
link below. No phone reservations for the buses will be taken.
The Northern VA and Long Island, NY Mountaineer Parents Club chapters will also run buses in those areas.
Long Island, NY
IMPORTANT: While we do our best to accommodate viable departure and safe arrival times for all students and parents, we realize that some students may have classes that meet after the scheduled departure time. All professors give students a syllabus at the beginning of the semester that details their attendance policy and how many days the student can miss. Ultimately, it is the student’s responsibility to discuss missing class with their professors. The holiday buses are provided as a service for those able to work within these time constraints.
Please note - minimum ridership must be met for the buses to run.
